Axel the Bandicoot (アックサル ・ザ ・バﾝディクオオ Akkusaru za Bandikuoo) is a main character in the Family Ties series. He is an 20 year old anthropomorphic male bandicoot. He was formely an orphan before becoming a mercenary along with Jack. He currently resides on the outskirts of Metal City with Jack the Dingo and Jessabel the Otter.

Physical Description

Axel has a dark brown fur coat, black hair tied in a rat's tail style and green eyes. His main attire mainly consists of a dark blue and orange trimmed jacket, black fingerless gloves and black shoes with blue arrow shaped clips. He has two piercings in the top left of his ear. He also carries a sheath for his gunblade Silvertooth.

Personality

Axel comes off as a not so happy person usually remaining too him self in dark situations or tough times. In most cases when around Jessabel and Jack, he tends to be much more open and friendly. Whenever on a mission that becomes his sole focus and ignores anything not related to him or the mission.

Abilities

Axel being a mercenary has a wide skillset availbile to him. Years of training and learning have made him one of the best mercenaries out there.

Skills

• Enhanced swordsmanship: Axel has developed an extensive knowledge of swordsmanship over the years and has become an expert in sword skills.
• Enhanced Marksmanship: Having trained extenisvely with firearms. Axel has developed a keen sense of perception and accuracy. He is also able to tell where he should fire his shots in the enviorment around him to maximize damage.
• Combat perception: Axel has a keen sense of combat, mainly in attack perception where he is able to predict his opponites move and either block them, dodge them or counter them.
• Hunting intuition: During his time apart of Garret's gang, Axel was taught Hunting Intuition by Ned, mainly in the areas of camoflauge and stealth tactics. He is able to easily corner his target by using the enviorment around him.
• Enhanced gunmanship: Having spent years working with firearms, Axel has also developed a powerful understanding of fire arms and knows how it works both inside and out. 
• Peak physical conditioning: Having spent countless years training himself, Axel has also trained his physical body to its peak, mainly utilizing his strength through combat and stealth.
• Burrowing: Being a Bandicoot, Axel is able to dig his way into the ground and create several passage ways that others can use, but also set traps in as well.
• Parkour: Axel has a strong understanding of parkour and can pull off advanced techniques.

• Silvertooth is modeled after a gunblade from the Final Fantasy series
